Ford Edge
What could be more Bold than the new Ford Edge? This unique crossover has bold design, great handling and serious control. But it also gives you flexibility, plus advanced safety. Top that with bold colors and a truly innovative design and you have a breed of vehicle that defies the norm… and sets its own standard. The exterior design features a 3-bar chromed grille accentuated by attractive quad-beam halogen headlamps, a rear spoiler and available dual chrome-tipped exhaust. It all rides on standard 17” or optional 18” wheels and tires. The class-exclusive and optional Vista Roof features a tilt-and-slide front panel and a second fixed rear glass panel. This feature brings a panoramic view to front and rear passengers alike. There is 32.1 cu. ft. of cargo space behind the 2nd-row 60/40 split seats. Fold down both rear seat backs and you can increase cargo space to 69.6 cu. ft. But wait… there’s more! With the available fold-flat front passenger seat you can carry items up to 8 ft. long. The center console is configurable in 12 unique ways; it uses a removable divider and tray to organize the space both vertically and horizontally. The stereo system has standard MP3 capability and audio input jack. There’s also an optional DVD Rear Entertainment System and SIRIUS Satellite Radio. There is also has an optional DVD-based Navigation System. Passive safety features include an impact-absorbing body structure design, dual-stage front airbags, front side-impact airbags, and Safety Canopy System with rollover sensor for protection for front and outboard rear passengers. The 3.5L Duratec V6 features dual overhead cams with four valves per cylinder and variable cam timing technology. It generates best-in-class 265 horsepower and 250 lbs./ft. of torque… along with 18 city/25 highway fuel economy. The 6-speed automatic transmission offers smooth and responsive performance. For the road, a 4-wheel independent multi-link suspension delivers confident road manners as do standard 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS and an optional active All-Wheel Drive system. Of course, the class-exclusive AdvanceTrac System with Roll Stability Control is standard. |

 Ford Freestyle
The Ford Freestyle isn’t an SUV. But neither is it car. Instead, it’s an engaging marriage of the two that makes perfect sense… and perfectly harmony. There’s seating for seven and room cargo to spare. There’s power and handling. And there’s no reason to look any further for the perfect vehicle for every need. With theatre seating, passengers not only get a great view, but room to stretch with best-in-class 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-row leg room. Room for your stuff is also best-in-class with fold-down 2nd- and 3rd-row seat backs. The 2nd row seats come standard with captain’s chairs, or can be ordered as a three-person bench. Because all seats can be folded down, there’s a host of configurations for carrying people and cargo. This vehicle also earned the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Five-Star crash test rating – the highest available – for both front and side impacts. It is also the only vehicle in its class to have a standard Safety Canopy with rollover sensor. This system is a standard part of the Safety Package and the Safety and Security Package, which also includes side impact airbags, anti-theft perimeter alarm, perimeter lighting and heated exterior mirrors. The vehicle platform itself incorporates Side Protection and Cabin Enhancement architecture. This engineering helps protect occupants through advanced crash force management techniques designed to help channel impact forces around and away from the passenger cabin. The standard Duratec 3.0L engine with free-breathing multi-valve design and Continuously Variable Transaxle work together to produce responsive performance, smooth acceleration and car-like fuel economy. In fact, this fuel-efficient powertrain and a 19 gallon fuel tank allow you to travel up to 500 miles on a single tank of gas. |
