Ford Super Duty Bold Moves
There’s hardly a Bolder Move than Ford Super Duty. The numbers tell the real story: this truck rules with the most units still on the road with 250,000 miles or more. The new Lariat Highline SuperCab includes: An all-chrome billet-style grille, chrome mirror caps, chrome exhaust tip, chrome tow hooks, chrome pickup bed tie-down hooks 5" chrome tubular step bars, black leather captain's chairs, center console with black leather-wrapped lid, unique brushed-aluminum instrument panel and door trim inserts and ebony interior accents.
The 5.4L Triton is the standard V8 powerplant. With 300 peak horsepower and 365 lb.-ft. of torque, the 5.4L generates all the power you may ever need. Among its many features is the only multi-valve (3 valves per cylinder) induction system in its class. Move up from there and you’re now in V10 territory with the optional 6.8L Triton, the most powerful gas-powered engine in a full-size pickup. Like the 5.4L, it features a free-breathing multi-valve (3 valves per cylinder) induction system. But there’s one more step to go: The Power Stroke Turbo Diesel. With its massive 570 lb.-ft. of torque, Power Stroke has more pulling power than any other diesel in a full-size pickup. Behind these engines, the TorqShift transmission has everything you could ask for in today’s advanced 5-speed gearbox. Ford engineers designed the suspension system to deliver all the toughness and control you’d expect with its beefy radius control arms to its ready-for-anything components.
